Brother or sister of husband/wife is called brother-in-law or sister-in-law, so is the case with father-in-law, mother-in-law,uncle-in-law or children husband or wives are called daughter-in-law or son-in-law. They all, as for as Law is concern, legally related. But husband/wife those who are LEGALLY married are not called HUSBAND-IN-LAW or WIFE-IN-LAW?

    If you are LEGALLY married, then there is no need to add in-law with husband or wife is there? It is clear that such a relationship is recognised by law, as you are LEGALLY married.
