How much time does the US have left?

The money power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its REIGN by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed."

President Abraham Lincoln after the

National Banking Act of 1863 was passed

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”

Alexander Tyler

Our present form of government is 234 years old

Very wise and true staqtements. One can only hope that the population is waking up and voting the corrupt bums out of office.

England has been a democracy for a LOT longer than 200 years and shows no sign of collapse, so I am quite certain that the USA will certainly outlive Mr Tyler's prediction - probably by at least a factor of 10.
