My faith is in God, His Wisdom (His Word) and His Power. In fact, this is one of my best Bible verses

And if they knew the wisdom of God, they would not reject His Son and His living Word. For it is only in Him that we live, move and have our being.

I have learned (the hard way in my 54 short years) to only trust ONLY Gods wisdom found ONLY in the Word of God - the Holy Bible.

I can find little wisdom in the many different voices of humans here on earth who tend to disagree on who is right as far as their differences in denominations, etc... I absolutely do NOT believe there is only one true church except the entire church of all who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour...no denomination because no matter what we all say - they are man-made! All have been created by many men through the years...and with many changes as time went by...

No mere man can have the power of God!

Only Jesus Christ who was not merely a man, but Gods only son.

Oh for the wisdom of Solomon to help me write this! But wait!; maybe that’s not such a good idea because for all his wisdom Solomon never found salvation.

Solomon, the tenth son of David, the second child of Bathsheba, the third king of Israel chose wisdom in preference to all things and the Lord was so pleased (1 Kings 3: 10) that he also gave Solomon things he didn’t ask for, riches and fame! And in verse 14 God added “And if you follow me and obey me, as your father David did, I will give you a long life.” Solomon’s fame spread far and wide throughout the world and his wealth and riches increased immensely.

(1 Kings10:24) “all the Earth sought to Solomon to hear the wisdom God had given him”. Even the Queen of Sheba came to Solomon bringing large amounts of gold and spices and precious jewels. But God had already appeared to Solomon a second time in 1Kings chapter 9 after the completion of the “Temple of the Lord” and spoken to Solomon saying “If you follow me with integrity and godliness, and obey me as your father David did I will establish your throne forever.”

Can we see a pattern emerging here? Follow and obey. This simple instruction is so important that God appeared to Solomon twice. You see Solomon should have asked for obedience, or at least wisdom from God tempered with obedience to God. Solomon disobeyed God four times, not only did he marry women from Moab and Edom and lots of other places among his 700 wives and 300 concubines which went against Gods instructions but to add insult to injury he went and built pagan shrines to their gods and goddesses, Ashtoreth, Molech and Chemosh and began worshipping them.

1 Cor3:19 tells us “For the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, “He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness (Job 5:13). As Gods word tells us that “faith without works is dead” (James 2:17) so then wisdom without obedience is useless. “the fear of the Lord” as the basis of all wisdom is fundamental to our lives if we are serious about making a stand for God and living our lives for Him.

The hidden wisdom is the simplicity of the gospel itself; it is our faith in Christ Jesus and Him risen.

I prefer God's power, the secret of the cross is that if they had known that crucifying Jesus would result in many millions of followers who practice what he taught, they would not have done it.
