DOes it sound like i am having a miscarriage?

Levels went from 9 to 31 to 301 to 489 than to 153. i have had no bleeding or anything. Had a ultrasound wed there was nothing is sac. than on friday went to er there was a sac in uterus. I thought if levels werent at 1000 they could see anything in uterus. I was also told you couldnt see anything in uterus unti 5 weeks and 2 days. i was exactly that on friday. I did my blood test ealry friday morning. I am not sure whats going on. On wed they gave me progetrine. i am still on it. i go back to doctors tomm. what do you think anyone have levels fall than go back and everything be ok.

Update:

Doctor told me to come into tomm. that levels can drop than do back up. Somewhere mine had to go up than go down or something. cause you have ot reach hcg level of 1000 for baby to show in sac. wed i was 489 fri morning i was 153. they were done at different labs also. I know I am just gonna have to wait..

I'm sorry it does sound like you are miscarrying. I started light spotting and cramping on sunday november 7th @ 4-5 weeks, GYN on call told me that it was normal in early pregnancy. By monday november 8th, the spotting was a tiny bit heavier and the cramping was a little worse too. I told my husband I wasn't even bothering calling the doctor cause I knew they were going to say that it was normal in early pregnancy, so he just took me straight to the ER cause I felt something wasn't right. After pelvic exam and blood work I was told my levels had dropped from saturday in the 100's down to 33 in a 48 hour period and your levels are supposed to double every 48 hours. They did an ultrasound just to confirm that I was miscarrying and the ultrasound showed nothing. If your levels went from 489 down to 153 I'm 100% sure that you are miscarrying. My GYN however was upset @ the ER for telling me that I was miscarrying because he did say that sometimes in very early pregnancy your levels can go up and down, however when I told him that I had my levels drawn on saturday and they were in the 100's and then on monday they were down to 33 he also said I was miscarrying. Based on your levels and what the ultrasound showed, I'd say you are in the early stages of miscarrying. You should start bleeding and having cramping soon, but not all women do and if that is the case you will have to have a D&C. I passed everything naturally. I had my levels redrawn the friday after the M/C was confirmed (which I believe was the 12th) and my doctor told me if my levels hadn't dropped to zero they would call me to schedule a D&C. They never called so I'm assuming that I had passed everything and my levels were back to zero.

I am so sorry. Just keep your head up, if it turns out you are not miscarrying then congrats, but right now it doesn't look good.

i've got self belief the information are which you're in basic terms 10-30% probable to miscarry two times in a row in case you have had in basic terms one so a procedures. that's what I appeared up as quickly as I grew to alter into pregnant after a miscarriage. as long as there's a heartbeat, the possibilities are high good this one will proceed.

The fact Tht ur levels are shrinking so early warrants Tht u will be miscarring. If u were further along lke 8 weeks or more ur hcg levels will get lower. What ur doc say?

The same thing happened to me in 2008 it is called "Blighted ovum". I'm sorry it does sound like a miscarriage, when the pregnancy has no product it always ends on a miscarriage.
