RN is a 2 to 4 yr. degree.

CNA is maybe only a few weeks to several months.

    Big difference. Good luck!

CNA is not a degree; its a training program of a few weeks to a month. RN degrees can be either at a community college (2-3 years/associates degree) or a 4 year bachelors degree.

to become a RN it can take anywhere from 2 years, year round, or you can get a 4year, BSN degree (which if you plan on wanting to become a DON or moving up the ladder in leadership, a BSN would be your best bet.) a Certified Nurses Assitant isn't a degree, its a program that can last from a few months to 1 year.
