kiiten got green slime stuck in fur?
hi our kitten got covered from head to toe in slime kind of like this stuff http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61FaLnuET%2B... it has set hard and is to close to his skin to chop off,
please any help would be appreciated!
this happened yesterday, we have tried and are still trying washing and brushing it out, and now it has set hard.

Take him to the vet and have them shave him. It will be far less traumatic than trying to remove it yourself.

Oh Crap!!! Try using some kind of oil like olive oil or something. Not motor oil. lol. If that doesn't work then I would take it to the vet or a groomer to get it shaved off.. A vet would probably be better, they might have to sedate the kitten a little bit.

Qwick wash him with warm water and liquid soap cause the slime could be toxic or irritating to his skin!

Baby oil will sometimes get this out.
Who put this onto the cat? Kill them.
If you can find a phone number on the package - call them and ask. Read the package and see how toxic this stuff is.
