I'm about to turn 40 and I have a 4 year old, so I can only imagine what 4 kids would actually be like!

I used to feel like you a lot - and that was before having my little girl. I would come home from work and collapse on the sofa and felt so sluggish ALL the time.

What sort of tea are you drinking? Caffeine and sugar could be making things worse for you. (I know I felt better once I cut these out or keep them to a minimum)

Honestly though, it could be so many things. For me, what has helped beyond belief is my scalar pendant. It arrived about 6 months ago and since wearing it I sleep better, have more energy, no headaches, and if I go a few nights of broken or limited sleep for various reasons - I still feel alert and OK the next day. I might still feel a bit tired at the end of the day but usually now I can push through. If not, I have a quick nap when I put my little girl to bed and then I'm fine to get up and keep going.

Oh, the other things that surprised me before wearing the pendant is that I thought I ate quite healthy too, but I was eating dinner quite late - especially if it was root vegies like potatoes etc, I would feel worse. Now I try and eat before 7pm. And I drink a lot more water - that's a biggie, too.

Best of luck - it's not easy, so I hope you get the energy you need soon.

Stress maybe. However, look at your coloring. Are you more pale than normal? Get your iron checked. You might be anemic. Or maybe you just need a little time to relax. Having 4 kids is bound to take away from your personal time. Maybe it's your body's way of letting you know that you need to slow down and just sit down in the quiet with a book or something like that. However, get yourself another doctor because any doctor that says you need more exercise as a diagnosis without looking into it is a total quack.

    maybe try taking some vitamins.

Or get checked to see if you have low iron levels, this is quite common, especially among women and it can cause you to feel really tired.

Also make some 'me' time. I bet have 4 kids would take its toll on anyones body. So allow yourself to have an afternoon each week that is dedicated to you, even if its just to read a book with a glass of wine. At least it will give you time to relax and unwind before you completely run yourself down.

You have four kids and your doctor told you to get more exercise? I would get a new doctor because this one is not helping you.

There may be an underlying illness that he should take blood tests for assuming he hasn't.

There are a lot of illnesses that cause fatigue such as Fibromyalgia, not saying that you have that, only an example.

Have you had a blood test to rule out Anaemia? Lack of iron is the common cause for tiredness. Eat plenty of iron rich foods (meat and green veg) and take a supplement a day and see if that helps!

Don't sleep two hours, don't sleep twenty.

Sleep around 7 but keep it constant, have a routine.

Take vitamin D pills, if you're low in vitamin d it will cause you to be very tired and low energy. If not, take them anyway it can't hurt and it could help, they help me.

Also, try getting tested for anemia and for your thyroid if you haven't already.

Your doctor is right - you need to exercise to produce the stimulation within your body and a good walk in the fresh air does that - it will take a couple of weeks but it will work.

I will bet you are stuck in the house all day...........all that stale air doesn't help

You may have low blood pressure. Drink lots of coffee and try to do long walks with your kids to get your blood flowing.

However, if you are too tired with no good reason, this may be the symptom of something serious and you should consult a doctor.

Perhaps you need more energy enzymes from more fruit and vegetables.
