Well every diaper fits every baby different, so you will have to try a few different ones out for you to find out which one will be best for you and your baby. I personally love Huggies littlest snugglers for sizes preemie - 2 and Huggies little movers for sizes 3 and up. My son used the snugglers from the time he was in the hospital. He was in preemies for a few days, then went to NB and was in them for about a month and a half, then I had to switch to the NB pampers swaddlers. I HATED them, but they were the only ones that fit right at that particular time. Then he went to size 1 and has been in the huggies ever since. The pampers seem more bulky and not as form fitting. The poop would always ride up his back where as the huggies have a poop catcher. The pampers also have a net inside the diaper that would stick to my sons privates and leave marks. They would also swell up sooo big at the littlest pee, and would leave gel pieces on my son that were very challenging to get off.
That was my experience and that is why I like the huggies better. But if you want to try these out make sure they are NOT the snug and dry. Make sure they are the little snugglers, cause the snug and dry are even worse than pampers.
ALSO!!!
I sent my husband out for diapers one day and he brought home LUVS cause he said they were 3 dollars cheaper, and they gave my son a rash cause they are so scented, it is insane. They also are very cheap and flimsy. they still use the sticky tabs. Needless to say I went out and bought him the right diapers and never asked my husband to buy them again haha.

For tiny babies, I liked the pampers swaddlers. Once he got bigger, I still liked pampers, but I was more open to other brands. Huggies I felt were the best in the cheaper brand. Some of the Luvs diapers have tabs that are not very flexible (stretchy), so I didnt' like them that much. My suggestion is to buy Pampers to start and when the baby gets a little bigger, buy a small pack of something different (once he/she is into size 2) and if you hate them you can wait until they're a little older and try again. Something about age and diapers, weird, I know.

I started out with huggies when my daughter was a newborn. They leaked almost every time my daughter pooped. She did after every feeding and sometimes in between feedings as well. Imagine how much laundry I had to do! And since I had a very limited amount of newborn clothing I had to do laundry every day. And trust me that's the last thing you want to be doing after giving birth! I then tried the pampers that the hospital gave me and the problem was solved! My daughter is 4 months old now and I only use pampers. I tried Fisher price brand (got them for the babyshower) and they are the worst ever! My daughter got a rash from them. Anyways, Pampers swaddlers is my favorite. Its the best

I agree with ...! I like the Walmart brand Parents choice diapers. My daughter is only 3mos old though. I can see where the huggies may work better when she gets older and starts peeing more. I do not like the Parents choice wipes though. I like the Luvs. Hope this helps. Just have a diaper shower and get everyone to buy diapers and wipes! Then you can try them all out before you have to buy any. Congrats!

my 3 month old explodes in his diaper everytime he poops. Huggies is the best because they have this patented trapper at the back of the diaper so it won't go all over ur babys back. Pampers aren't good in my opinion because they feel very flimsy and you get alot more messes. If ur worried about the price go online and sign up for coupons.

Never ever use Pampers new or old as they sag horribly when they get fuller. Huggies are good but expensive. I honestly have done well with the Walmart brand Parents Choice (although they fit smaller) and my fave has been Superstore's Teddy's Choice.. inexpensive and they work well and I am definitely not the kind of person that changes my kid every two seconds!

You know, I have used pampers, huggies and luvs. Honestly, Luvs seem to be just as good as the pampers or huggies and you can get them for a much better price.

huggies always and if for some reason u cant get them, get pampers...i will not ever use any brand except huggies, except when store out of stock or something, then ill temporarily use pampers
