    No, nope and never! With the corruption in Afghanistan, the $100 billion will only go into the pockets of those in charge. Geez, from Chiang Kai Shek to Karazai, all the US seems to know how to do is make millionaires and billionaires out of kiss-up, incompetent dictators in strategically important but-otherwise-worthless countries.

    Here's a plan: levy a special tax on the corporations that will benefit from a stable Afghanistan. The oil companies, pipeline contractors, etc. should be forced to invest in their own projects. They should also be forced to supply their own mercenaries and weapons. Why should the American people give our money and blood and then have to pay $4 a gallon for gas? Why should we assume all the risk when we don't share in the profit?
