Do dogs, cats and other family pets get headaches?

I hear all the time they have this or that kind of illness sort of like humans and sometimes we as humans as well as the family pet can take one each others meds.

Update:

We have never given our pets any of our meds only those told to give by the vet it just so happens some were human kind and he even told us so one because they were cheaper than what he could provide

I have often wondered this myself, but how would you know? Cats don't exactly hold their heads and moan or hold their bellies and moan when they have belly aches. I do know with dogs some vets will advise owners to give their dog benadryl when they have issues in the car.

You know that is a very interesting question. Being someone who suffers a lot of headaches, I've often wondered if my 2 cats ever get headaches. Alas, I'm not a vet so I don't know.

As for the meds you mentioned, please don't be tempted to give your cat any medication meant for human use as they can be very toxic and some lethal.

Never give any pet any medication intended for a human or other pet. Only medicate your pet on the advise of the vet.

Only when you're "in the mood"...
