Never buy a "doggie in the window". They come from puppy mills and are in extremely bad condition. The more puppies bought, the more bred, not taken care of, dying, and coming right back into the store.
Please tell me you know what a puppy mill is.

Yes. Thousands of dogs are put down in shelters everyday...nice young dogs, even pureblooded dogs. For each one you buy from a breeder, a shelter dog will not find a home and be killed. There are already more dogs than there will ever be homes for. It is criminal to breed more and more.
