How long after an accident which breaks both your tibia as well as your fibula do people usually walk without ?
My flap hasn't even fully healed yet but I was active up to the accident and not being at work church or the gym is hurting more than my recovering leg

A couple/few months at least, I'm sure. That's something your doctor and/or your physical therapist should have told you. Unfortunately, that's a pretty bad set of injuries, and even after the 6-8 weeks to heal the bones, further work would be needed for the same ease of mobility.
