If a theistic doctor thought this way, they wouldn't let them die just for the fact they don't know if the person is saved or not. Therefore, they would be motivated to save the person's life.

You miss the point of this existence it is to accomplish something .This life isn't are goal but the means by witch we obtain are goal. We do not live to die but die to live.
