Can anyone interepret this mechanics Jargon? Help!?
"Your scooter is ready. You had a drain valve for your carburetor fall out. We eliminated the valve so it is not possible for it to happen again." Does anyone know what this means, or what the problem with my scooter was?
Ok. so I was driving it and it just turned off on me. I did notice that when I tried to turn the scooter back on, it would leak gas...

Since you don't describe what your problem with the scooter was or the make, model and year, I'll have to presume that the mechanic couldn't find the cause of the problem. Drain valve on a carburetor is not a valve at all but a screw/plug that allows you to drain the fuel from the float bowl. You need that screw/plug to drain any contaminants from the carburetor if any gets in there. The only way I know to eliminate a drain valve is to plug it up with JB weld or other similar product. It's called "Shade-tree mechanic" type of work.

He told you what the problem was.
There was a fuel drain valve on your carburetor.
The found it missing.
Instead of replacing it, they plugged the opening it left.
