How can I lose a couple of pounds for my tennis season?

Today we started practicing everyday for my tennis season. I felt like I waz a bit out of shape. I am 5-3 and weigh 130 lbs. I know that's not skinny but I am not complaining. I just wanna lose a couple of lbs. so I can be a bit more in shape. The excersing part will be done at practice since we're starting to go everyday now for 2 hrs. but Can anyone tell me what else can I do??? Maybe eat less(skip snacks or something like that)??? do sit ups and push ups (do they actually work)???? Please give me any advice, thanx. I really like tennis and want 2 do my best at it. Any advice would help a lot
