Fun tricks to teach dogs?
I have a 1yr and 6month old StaffyxRhodesian Ridgeback, she is very smart and just loves learning new tricks but it's now gotten to the point where I've run out of new things to teach her so I was wondering what tricks others have taught their dogs and whether you could recommend some fun things I could try with her to keep her entertained!
She already knows;
Sit
Stay
Come Here
Lay Down
Play Dead
Hi-Five
Shake
Speak
Spin
Roll Over
Also I'll hide her toy for her and she'll go find it
I can also hide and she'll come find me.
Thanks for any ideas!!

teaching her to stand on command is a good one, very useful for vet checks.
if you have spin then teach her the other way, call it twist.
Weaving around your legs in a figure of 8.
weaving through your legs as you walk forward
reversing either away from you or through your legs
fetching you a can or beer or soda from the fridge
helping you with the laundry (Picking up dropped clothes from the basket, carrying them down stairs or two the machine and putting them in the machine)
Picking up after herself.
pushing a ball with her nose
finding the remote or your phone
you can take on the finding her toy and get into scent work with her, eventually you can send her to find whatever item you had in your hand (lost keys, a dropped glove etc.) when you realised you lost them after a walk.
If you want something new to do, consider a dog sport, look at local clubs near you. The best ones which are the most interactive and comman based, and easily practiced at home, are agility, Freestyle Heel work to music (Don't laugh, it gets the dog thinking and paying attention, it's a great sport) and disc dogs.
You could also look into doing search and rescue work. Will she find other people?

I would suggest: Roll Over Play Dead Shake Spin To balance a treat on his nose Bow Speak Crawl Wave Hide your eyes There's several good books out there on teaching tricks, I'd suggest a visit to your library to check one or two out for more ideas!

Why not go to the library for a book or look on the net for "tricks to teach dogs"
that way you should have enough different ideas to keep you both happy!
my jack stands on her hind legs and spins around I ask her to stand
then to spin, she loves to show off and is always rewarded !

teach her Doggy Push Ups, they're so cute.
STEPS:
1)From a down position, lure or prod your dog to stand.
2) Once your dog is able to stand on cue, have him alternate between a down..
3)..and a stand..
it's super easy.

Learn it how to trash, or simply put things on its place. Or bring beer from fridge.
