I work as an office manager now, I was thinking of applying for a factory job. I am so stressed out here?

I have been at this job for over 6 years now. Have busted my butt for nothing. I have headaches after headaches here. I just got a very small raise. I getting sick of all the responsibility. My new boss is a crab. I know the factory job pays more, but also works 2nd or 3rd shirt which I would not mind, but also weekends. I just don't know what to do anymore. I live in a very small town, not to many jobs here. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Go work in the factory, at least you will get rid of your headaches and be happy. You obviously hate your current job and the "crab" who pretends to be your new boss.

For your information, in UK one of the biggest problems is stress related illness. There are so many people working in very stressful jobs that they hate and it creates a variety of illnesses. So better look after your health and do something you enjoy, your health is more important than money.

    One thing to consider:

If you move to the factory position, will you be stimulated mentally? You probably will feel like you're doing a job that is way below your intellectual level...

Also, if you move to the factory job, you're going to have another boss, who will be ordering you around too...

Try to get on people's good sides at your current job...Bring in treats on a regular basis....Nothing improves people's moods toward you like some chocolate chip cookies or brownies. :)
