What is the best cure for pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis?

I've come down with a really nasty cough and I think I might be suffering from this particular ailment. Any suggestions?

I had to look this word up. Do you know it is considered the longest word in the English language? I quote: "The term (more simply called pneumoconiosis, related to silicosis) is

    pneumonoultramicroscopicsilico-volcanoconiosis (no hyphen)

and was created in 1935 to be 'the world's longest English word".

It is a lung disease, similar to 'black lung' usually acquired by miners. It is caused by extremely microscopic silica getting into the lungs. Literally the word means: 'a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust usually found in volcanoes'. "

Unless you've been hanging around any mines, I doubt you have it. It's more probable that if you have a really nasty cough that you have bronchitis. In any case, if you cough up dark coloured sputum, and if it doesn't go away, see a doctor - you may need an antibiotic.

Good luck! (and thanks for teaching me a new word)

Take a look at the days back. Possible that you were mad at someone, didn't want to eat something that was offered that would be good for you. Somebody was too strict on you, and you took it in rather than taking it as just information.

You can take a look on www.Reasonline.com what reasons it could be.

I think I answered it long ago. see links.

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201012...

Medicines that helps in the ailments from inhalation of silica, asbestos etc. would be helpful here. Silicea in homeopathy is one medicine of value.

The treatment is Anti-pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanocon…, it's available as powder or pills in the all drugstores.

  • I think, iirc, that has more to do with smoking volcanoes than smoking cigarettes.

If so, just sacrifice two virgins and call me in the morning.

Salbutamol and/or Ibrotropium. See your doctor first though. Don't take my word for it. I'm just an evil corporate giant drug pusher.
