It's tough but i would give her in to the RSPCA or what ever you have where you are from. I dont think they will put her down and i hope so for her and u! If u cant give it the right amount of little feeds then u can't keep it thats putting it down painfully not painlessly. Dont have to give him up when u give it in to the adopting peope they will look after it then u can adopt it.

Id try an animal shelter they dont put pets down in a certain amount of time, they will care for him until he is 6 to 8 wks old and get him ready to be adopted! He will have a good chance of being adopted quick, kittens get adopted quicker than adult cats. If u dont have an animal shelter in your area, then u could try asking the vets and see if they would take him in since hes so young or if they could recommend someone that could help u find a place that will take him, in your area! Ive heard humane societies put down pets if they arent wanted in a certain amount of time, some may do differently though. If all u have in your area is a humane society id call and ask them if they terminate pets in a certain amount of time and if it applies to kittens! If u want to really keep him, u could ask a good friend thats willing to care for him while your at work! What id do is, if i didnt have a good friend to help, id find a good animal shelter or animal orphanage and pay a small fee for them to take him in so someone could adopt him. I use to volunteer at an animal orphanage and they sometimes had young kittens come in that werent old enough to be adopted yet so they cared for them till they were old enough to be put up for adoption! Best of luck to u!

Find someone willing to spend the time caring for it. If a cat home or animal welfare place did it temporarily while yo work knowing you would take the cat back when it can drink on its own then it would have a stronger chance of not being put down because they would know it has a home.

Surely a temporary arrangement can be made if you ask around, go through your adddress book it could be a real blessing for someone to care for a kitty short term.

Try phoning the Humane Society and cat rescues in your are to ask if there is a temporary foster home available, who can feed the baby until it is old enough for you to look after.

i could ask your vet. It would not sound like a doggy killed the kitten. i could think of a coyote or wolf could, yet not a doggy. No to blame breeder, pound, guard could have given you a doggy with a toddler interior the homestead. All breeds of domestic canines are worried of youngsters. All breeds chew and bounce on little ones. little ones do not comprehend the thank you to be type to domestic canines. little ones cry, scream, make jerking movements, hassle domestic canines at the same time as they're eating and take domestic canines toys. domestic canines choose for a ton of coaching and interest. you have not have been given time for this doggy and a toddler, that's purely cruel. i could ask your vet to locate the doggy a clean homestead, for the sacred doggy and for the secure practices of your toddler.

Well what you REALLY need to do if you wanna keep it is get a bottle with some kitten milk (not sure what its called check a pet store) and make sure that it's warm! and if you don't want to keep it you better hurry fast to an animal refuge because kittens need to eat a lot and often!

If you give her to a no kill shelter, they will put her in a foster home where she will be well taken care of by experienced people, then when she is old enough she will be put in a responsible and loving home. Please give her to them because she will get great care.

Source(s): Foster kittens, and often get very young ones that get put into great homes later!

    Give it to a friend?

Or maybe go to a local charity or school and see if they want to do a competition or a giveaway for someone who wants a little companion.
