Since taking office, what have Republicans done to help the economy?

They represent the rich who want cheap labor and less regulations on businesses so they can keep a slave class that will work for low wages just to have a job. Then you have health insurance companies who only pay 10% of what they earn to actually pay medical bills. Then they represent pharmacy companies to make money on drugs. But they are not about making the rich pay taxes or help the middle class except to make them the poor class so they are willing to work for any wages.

I mean forget going to other countries to get cheap labor when you can create it right here.

The Democrats have control of the Senate, 2007 to present. The Democrats control the executive branch, 2009 to present. The Republicans control the House, 2011. To whom are you referring? Or are you wanting information about about a particular state or district?

They have voted to repeal Obama care (the biggest economy killing bill ever passed). That bill died in the Democrat controlled Senate. They passed a balanced budget amendment, which required the federal government to spend only the money they have (a no-brainer in my house). That bill also died in the Democrat controlled Senate. Many other bill have been passed to help this economy only to be blocked or not even be voted on in the Senate.

the republicans are the reason that the economy busted. They held the country and the economy hostage until they got what they wanted in the compromise, which wasn't even a compromise. Republicans do nothing to help the country or the american people, they only help themselves. They should be run out of town

They have been trying. Many bills have been debated and passed the House. All sitting in Reid's office while he and Obama enjoy bashing Re-pubs and not even bringing them up for debate.

At least the Re-pubs have stopped some of the idiotic spending.

Instead of shoving everyone into groups why don't you look at what each congressman voted for?

You will find that whether they are democrat or republican doesn't make much difference when it comes to following the constitution, which is what they should be doing.
