What major should I go into if I'm studying to be an EMT?

I'm going to state to get my BS, at the same time going to a community college to train for EMT certification, what major should I go into to help with my training?

No degree is required to be an EMT or Paramedic. It will not help you get a job or higher pay in EMS.

If you want a degree that will be helpful for your future, go for a BSN in nursing to become an RN. If you plan on trying to join a fire department, get a degree in Public Safety or one of the sciences.
