My cat gave birth Thursday night at around 8:30PM to one dead kitten and one live kitten. But she still seems?

pregnant. She was not due until the 4th of November but the 1st she will be 61days along. The live kitten is a little premature because i can tell its small and has no hair on its feet and ears. It is aggressively nursing though and seems to being doing great. The thing is she still seems pregnant and I Think i can still see baby's moving in her belly. My normal vet is closed today. I called around and found a number for an emergency vet. I talked to someone that said she problem was just delivering the dead baby and will hold the rest to term... She is doing fine, eating ,drinking, and taking care of her baby. She is very proud of her little lonely kitten! Im asking for advice here. Has any one had any experiences like this? Please help.

Update:

Thanks Jen. That really helped me feel better.

Update 2:

I went back to check on her and the kitten and found that she is having some discharge again... So im thinking the next kittens will be born in 24hrs or so... im nerves and excited.. I will update this as things happen.

the live kitten was probably stuck to the dead one, and was born because of that ! it is not a big premature and should do fine! if there are more kittens ,they will come at there time , but to me ,things seam ok!

one thing could happen when the other kittens are born, is that she wont feed them correctly, because of the size difference with the older one! if so take it away when she feeds the newcomers
