The two best places to sell them at is half.com (sponsored through Ebay) or Amazon. You can set your own prices, but you have to pay shipping when sending the books off. The best time to list the books is about 3 weeks before the new semester starts. That's when you'll get the most buys. The only difference between these sites and Ebay is you have to sell the book once it sells, there isn't any highest bid. So make sure you set the price at exactly what you want to get for the book. Also be sure to give an accurate description of the books condition and list the correct ISBN number.

You could try to take the books back to the college bookstore that you bought them from as well, but there's no guarantee that they will buy them back. College book stores buy back what they know professors will be using next semester or next year. So if a teacher is still using the same edition of a book you bought in 2006 then the bookstore will buy it back from you. But even if they do buy it back, they offer you the price for it (you don't make your own price) and they normally don't pay you much.

shop them for 35 years, lugging them each and every time you progression. After which you will comprehend why you stored them...to throw out! As a instructor, I seek advice from my previous texts. not those from college and graduate instructions yet those from 8th grade and extreme college. they seem to have been written in a greater logical way than many of the present ones....previous college.

Try putting them up on ebay right before the first semester of college ends so people can get your books for their new classes.

  • The college bookstore probably wouldn't since I can guarantee you they've all got newer editions that the college is using. I'd go to Amazon and sell them there.
