Yahoo answers is actually an entertainment forum to enhance knowledge. we can learn much, and also we can teach more.Every person has got right to be a member in yahoo. He may be a relative, friend, or known or unknown.

Mr.X is running a company. The company frames certain rules and the workers, staff are instructed to follow the rules. There is one movement register in office. Those who want to go away from his/her seat, he/she should enter reasons with leaving time in the register. When the superior comes on visit or inspection, the whereabouts of the staff can be ascertained from the movement register if he/she's seat vacant.

one staff without entering the movement register and just informing a friend another seat went to remit fees to his son in a school. while he returning to office, he hit a old woman and police took him to the custody. He phoned his friend the happenings and further process continued. Now, everyone can understand why movement register necessary.

Similarly, yahoo is having community guidelines.Yahoo! Groups give Yahoo! users a place to meet, interact, and share ideas with each other. Just like a real community, you may have different opinions than other Yahoo! Groups users. The Yahoo! In one of the rules, Yahoo specifically states this.''You may not add members to a group without their permission''. what is the meaning to it?

There is no restrictions to become members in a family. Father may be a member, mother may be a member, son...daughter...and so on. But the family members should not join a group. A father is asking a question. B is his wife. B answers A. Will he award best answer to B? you don't know the relationship of A and B. Yahoo also don't know the relationship of A and B. But, A and B knows their relationship.

Suppose if they interchange best answers, it is not a sin but it is against their consciousness. You are all in the religious category. You are all answering various type of questions and in fact giving best answers. Don't you know what is sin and what is not sin?

Yahoo! Answers is a place to gain knowledge, not customers, page views, or dates. If you have years of experience in something, have a special hobby, own your own business, or if you are a knowledge partner, it's OK to accompany a good, on-topic answer with a link to your website, blog, or email to offer more information. However, it is not OK to post links that are unrelated to the topic or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain. Also prohibited are solicitations like "Will you add me as a contact?" or propositioning people.

Yahoo community guidelines further says:Our points system is meant to reward the community members for sharing questions and answers, so creating multiple accounts or posting content for the sole purpose of gaining points or soliciting others for points is not permitted. Posting filler answers to a question in an effort to be first to answer, or copying and pasting other members' answers, are also forms of cheating

so, one should not create multiple accounts soly for gaining points. you can have another account but that account in no way come to gain points. Gaining points means asking from one account and answering from another account. Awarding best answer to that another account. so, points increased. Therefore yahoo clearly says not to create multiple account to gain points.

Here one should not come with such questions. No one will accept that he/she is having multiple accounts. Keeping multiple accounts is not a sin. Also family members becoming members also not a sin but if the multiple accounts begins to gain points is not a sin, but cheating.Yahoo further says to avoid ''Venting, ranting or using hate speech'', but it is more here in yahoo answers.

Finally, you are asking good questions and also it is meaningful. you can give comments on answers while finalising the question. If you comment answers every hour or before finalising, the attention of the members will go in your counter arguments and they will simply stay away from giving answers.

Haritaji explained the question very well. i fully agree. Except a few, everyone..every member is having multiple ids. i'm not saying it wrong or sin.Having multiple id is not a wrong until the multiple ids used to gain points. This is what y/c guidelines says. That is what Haritaji projected here.The multiple ids can be transformed into a genuine ids simply making it contact. so now a user can award best answer, can have voting, can have starring.i challenge every member in y/a. Have they bold enough to swear that they have only one id in y/a?Everyone is having multiple ids but a few is misusing it and more members operating it separately. You can have a number of ids, no wrong in it until not misused. you can use it for voting and all are doing it.Keeping multiple ids are serious once, but now it is a common. You need not ask to opt out. They can pose the same question to you.You do in your way.Your profile is open.No member can find you wrong since you are doing works here cleanly.

Every one's wave line frequency differs from one another. Only thing you should be able to judge from the question whether the author is trying to pull your leg or get ideas without exerting or really in need of an answer or opinion for his query. But interpretations differs from people to people and you can not always please every one every time.

The Y/A platform enables you an outlet to give life to your talent, Knowledge and opinion shared with other and also enables you to pick up ideas and Opinions.

Keep up your relations with Y/A without any reservations or biases and as long as you are answering without violating any of the community rules or sentiments, you will be received with regards. As far as Maths is concerned 1+ 1 is 2 but in Y/A 1+1 equals 4 because bot of you have two ides or opinions each. The more you share your ideas with others for the benefits of society, the more you are happy.

we are all aware his "bull" ID was hacked and therefore created the present ID (of nandi) and i am sure any other person ,( including me )in his place may have done the same

It is a pity that the poor Nandi, who openly declared that he having just another ID as scape goat. He may be knowing how many here having how many multiple IDs.

My family members share my PC, Laptop and also members here and elsewhere.

We Hindus keep our father’s name, and brothers will have same end name also. Does it anyway affect any member here? I just joined this forum to learn. It seems that some members are only interested to find out more about other members than to learn and share their views.

A good question (or a good answer) rightfully deserves accolades and thumbs ups, irrespective of the fact whether the other person giving this encouragement is my relative or friend. I have always found you a serious Asker and very balanced in your statements. For that matter there are people who get many pats even if they question the number of times a donkey farts in 24 hours. I am not sure why this question originated but I will try present my views...

If you have some friends, family members on this forum that is perfectly all right even if you share computer with them. I don't see it as violation of either community guidelines or morality. In fact, I support that. There might be little favoritism which is human nature but where do we don't find favoritism on this forum. Irrespective of family and friends, if one gets into virtual friendship that person does favor, some try to "appease" other members and award best answers without reading or understanding the answer. So in summary, I don't see anything wrong in family/friends on the same forum including Yahoo Answers even if they support their closed ones.

Edit: Harithaji, well explained and detailed answer. Very few users take so much pain in posting. I truly appreciate her answer.

What is wrong both as per community guidelines and morally is, having multiple IDs and supporting one ID with another. Yahoo can block both/all the IDs. I see a user in your list doing that. That is absolutely unacceptable, what so ever excuse may be, there is no reason to keep more than one ID alive by a person and star, TD/TU, BA etc to from one ID to another.

Edit @bull, do you know having multiple IDs and answering, rating, staring with multiple IDs may it be hidden or open is called as trolling? I guess I don't need to remind this to you.

A quick question for you, why do Harithaji and my answer suddenly got 4 thumbs down? Nandi's answer that had 4 thumbs down suddenly disappeared? Any relation between these two? BTW, these TU and TDs don't really bother good users.
