What are basic signs that a girl likes you?

It depends on the type of girl.

The obvious:

she looks, smiles, flirts with you

the NOT so obvious:

she talks about you with her other friends

she leans into you when you speak

she says strange things that make you think "wait...does she like me? what does that mean!??!?!?"

she talks about other guys in front of you, waiting for a reaction

she asks you about girls

she brings up the topic of dating a lot, but tries to be as sly as possible

she talks about herself (almost as if she was advertising herself to you so you like her back)

she runs out of things to say to you

she's good at making things awkward

she tries to pretend that you guys are really close friends when you aren't

She will smile a lot when she's around you (this isn't necessarily her TRYING to give you a sign - but you just make her happy). She laughs at your jokes. She finds little ways to touch you. She may give you little compliments here and there. She initiates the conversation with you sometimes (via text, phone, messaging, in person, etc. etc.). She feels comfortable sharing her day/life likes & dislikes with you. You find her fixing her hair, makeup, clothes, etc. around you.

If you touch her physically (hold her hand, playfully tickle her etc), she doesn't shy away.

Girls apparentally give out hints... yea I know! My girlfriend sent them out all the time and I never knew... if she stands really close to you, almost touching, if she smiles at you a lot, maybe accidentally touches your hand as you walk... theres a lot of little things to look out for. But I don't think guys can easily pick up on hints.

if she talks to you a lot, it would mean that you're constantly on her mind :)

and if she's constantly trying to get ur attention and make eye contact with u, if she laughs at all of ur jokes etc.

its different for every girl but those are the most common signs

She'll twirl her hair and be nervous around you. She won't look directly at you most of the time, when she's talking to you that is, and she might glance over in your direction when she thinks that you aren't looking. When she's with her friends and they're talking and they all of a sudden all look over in your direction, that means she likes you and that she is telling her friends about you.

Okay let's be simple hair touching yes. And when they touch you. Like to fix your hair or feel your shirt. Theyre most likly listing. Just touching you. Also compliment. Or depending on the type of gal. Insults. :) hope I help

when she looks at you a lot randomly and when you say a joke to someone else and she laughs to just little things you wouldnt normally notice.

She talks to you a lot, she tries to nonchalantly get you attention (like dropping her pencil), she'll laugh at your jokes even if they totally suck.

They smile alot around you, laugh at your jokes, just look at your eyes.. You can feel it somtimes.

if she knows ur name without u telling her. thats a biggie! she likes u! they ALWAYS try to talk to you. makes small talk. i little bit of flurting, etc.
