Why must we be thankful to God for creating us? Does the fact he made us mean that he automatically good?

Update:

Sorry to atheists for using the word "fact"...I was a bit careful in the wording of this question. Sorry for missing the 's also.

I had this question in another form earlier but it wouldn't post:

I wouldn't say fact but I understand the point which you are trying to make. The other atheist don't understand that this is an arguement (British English, damn it) on their side. But to give some perspective:

there are two theocratic explanations as to why God created man which can be found in the Bible:

1 to have dominion over the beasts (animals)

    2 to worship him

some Theologians say it is because out of love whatever the hell that means, well with the whole flooding and genocide thing

but lets look at these explanations or reasons

1 on the first: there is little to say here but man's desire to feel as if he has rights over everything

2 on the second: the idea that a god created beings to worship him in the first place seems quite pathetic and sad also narcissistic which is the characteristics of the worst of people

3 on the third, be it that it could have well been out of love, there is an equal chance of it being out of pure cruelty or evil.

purely the gods have the understanding of good and evil. how are you able to probable understand what's evil? We ate of that tree and at the instant are on our thank you to demise. In a blink of a eye interior the existence of this planet we've further approximately extra demise and destruction specifically our own. we are those that delude ourselves into thinking we are able to administration the worldwide and rule it. God made it for guy, perfect? it rather is the "so we are able to do what we want with it" mentality which you're perceiving as evil. The gods (or God in case you want) purely create perfection. It took one tribe of those with the loopy theory that the worldwide became made for them and that they might now no longer stay interior the palms of the gods to place us the place we are right now. there is no longer something improper with the human race. purely the way we are residing is killing us.

It's good manners and shows you deserve it, yes god is good unlimitlessly good.

evolution and creationism are not a contradiction in the age of science and anthropology as I explain in my video here... science actually glorifies and confirms God as the only existing factor that can explain the initiation of the big bang, science has no explanation for the intiation.

    Jesus.....back

and to prove I'm the real deal I explain (in all languages as promised) how I performed 2 miracles feeding the 5000 and the miraculous catch in my key video "the announcement". More will be revealed in due course over the next few months as the world wakes up slowly to the reality I am back. Of course some will say I am an imposter but the reality is no one will wonder how the miracles were performed anymore as my truth will be embedded in the minds of man and everyone will know it's the truth even if they deny me intheir hearts. Spread the video (facebook-Jayzus Christo, twitter-@themessiahme, email etc) if you want to speed up the coming of a world free of oppression, violence, paedophilia etc it's going to happen but you can help speed it up. to doubt is normal but condemn me at your peril your name shall be noted.

You do not have to be thankful to God for being the Creator. In other words, you have the option to be thankful or not, as seen by many of the posts here. I am glad to exist and I believe that nature is awe inspiring, thus I am thankful. The sole act of creating us does not necessarily, in and of itself, lead to categorizing God as good. There are other acts of providence, revelation, and the rest of creation, besides ourselves, which contribute to our understanding of God as being good.

Assuming God created us, it was for a purpose.

It would then follow that our 'gratitude would be expessed in fullfilling same.

We would then seem to be left, with some small guidance,

to figure out what that purpose is for ourselves.

When you come up with that answer, get back to us

    I am God, and there is no other;

I am God, and there is none like me.

I make known the end from the beginning,

from ancient times, what is still to come.

I say, ‘My purpose will stand,

and I will do all that I please.

John 14:29 And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe.

Did you know that you can't observe “my imaginary friend” with science because he is not within our domain?

You don't have to do anything...swear at Him if you like. Free Will.

But God did NOT make you. He made Adam and Eve, and then let them go on their merry way. That is why they did what they did....and that is why we all think the way we do...you think your way, I think mine and everyone thinks their ways....ALL of us right, of course.

If you made a barrel of wine, and it tasted terrible, so you dumped into a nearby creek...and as it mixed with the water and mud and other elements....the products it made as it traveled down the creek...Is that your makings.?..are you responsible for the end results? You may have started the thing, but the way it ened up is not up to you, it was all in the mixture of what was in the creek and how it flowed, etc.

God did the same with Adam and Eve...created them, and then let them go. What they did, in creating humans and more humans, down to us currently, has nothing to do with God. We are the by products of the "swirling waters and elements" in the stream....

That is why the world is in such a mess.

Caps isnt shouting just stressing words

yes it does He is Good to have created us to ONLY experience love goodness joy peace. we sinned we messed this world up not Him. to exp those things instead of nonexistence is EPICALLY GOOD in any book.

Not to mention the fact that EVERYDAY he gives us light water food shelter life ability to work pleasure DIED FOR US and DOESNT give us hell which we deserved before we accepted Jesus and every other good thing That only comes from Him. Bible even says every good thing comes from him. Even good things from other ppl come from Him. and yet everyday we spit in his face with rebellon sin, and yet john 17:23 we are loved as much as Jesus by the Father and are saved by NO WORKS just Faith and RELATIONSHIP with Jesus

God made us innocent (not good). He also left us with His

instruction book (Holy Bible) from the Maker telling us how

to be good, how to receive blessings, and how to live forever

with Him at the end of this life. So, we all get to choose how

to live. We can be good and believe Him and enter heaven,

or we can choose to live otherwise and see hell.
