I have two cats and I take them for walks daily on a harness and leash. It takes a lot of patience, but I just can't deprive my cats of their right to fresh air. My cats are indoor cats, but i spend at least 1/2 hour to 1 hour walking them. Being in a stroller is no fun at all for the cat, they must be free to sniff around and also eat grass, it is essential to their needs. At times I have to carry my cat. If she is a little lazy or if she is frightened, she will ride on my shoulder and let me know when she feels safe enough to walk again. But it is not all cats that can learn to walk on a leash, and also, it is not all people who have the patience needed to walk a cat. Our cats are Siamese cat and Ragdoll cat and both these breeds are more adaptable on a leash. You could give it a go.

My sister used one! It was her second step after failing at leash-training her cat. Her cat is calm and very laid back, so he just enjoyed lounging around more than getting fresh air. My cats are a little too uppity, and would have a meltdown. I'd say it all depends on the temperament of the cat, and letting the cat adjust to it. I recommended that my sister let her cat, Mr. Biggs, use the stroller as a kitty bed in the house so he could get his scent inside it. Then he'd be more familiar with the contraption and feel more comfortable when it was closed up and outdoors (he'd never been outdoors since he was a baby, when he was rescued). Familiar scent is actually very calming for pets.
If the stroller doesn't work out as planned, I'd personally recommend the Kitty Cabana mesh enclosures, if you have a doggie door but don't want your cat to go outside. Freestanding enclosures are also available. You can find cat enclosures on Amazon.com or most pet supply stores. Truth be told, my cats love a screened window at their favorite windowsill perch. They feel the breeze, get some fresh air, see and hear the birds chirping (birdfeeders are like television for cats!), and actually believe they are outside. They aren't picky boys!

as quickly as I rescued toddler Sparky from a baseball sport the place some childrens have been going to throw her in the dumpster, she ought to have been 2 months previous. My 7 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous blue-pointe Siamese, Mr. Sam, enable her 'nurse' for 2 months because of the fact it calmed and comforted this orphan kitten. And he desperate he replaced into the father. each night i chanced on him curled round her, conserving her. omit Bigfoot cherished her for a pair of weeks and then placed up together with her. yet Sam replaced right into a proud daddy. I even have photos of them in the process the years. She constantly snuggled and laid her head on Mr. Sam. whilst he exceeded 10 years in the past, toddler Sparky mourned him and searched the domicile for him each night for 2 years. She ought to no longer have faith he replaced into extremely long previous. She looked everywhere and spoke of as to him. this won't harm the 'adoptive mommy'. If it afflicted her, she could use her huge bunny ft to circulate him away. Bless you and her.
