Parents, How Many Gallons of Milk do You Go Through a Day?

We go through *maybe* 1/2 a gallon per week, or less. Neither my husband or I drink milk, I only use it in cereal, or waffles or pancakes and our daughter is still too young for milk. Some weeks we don't use milk at all. In the last week the only reason we used any milk was because our friend takes milk in his coffee.

As a family of four...myself, husband, 9 year old son and 3 year old daughter...we go through a gallon a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. One of my cravings is a bowl of cereal before bed every night so it's been more lately lol. My son has a bowl of cereal before school and other than that, we may drink a glass of milk a day. We probably go though 5 gallons of water a day if we measured it.

Now we go thru about 4 gallons a week, but before my daughter stopped drinking milk in a bottle, we were using 5 or sometimes 6 gallons every week.

It adds up at $4 a gallon!

I as well, feel like I'm always buying milk. And milk ain't cheap in my area. 3 bucks a gallon.

We go through about 2-3 gallons a week. My kids drink it, and I use a lot for cooking. Breakfast meals and dinner meals I use it

Between our 2 year old, morning cereal, cooking, drinking it ourselves... It doesn't last long.

It takes us almost a week to go through 1 gallon. That's with 2 adults and a toddler (the baby is too young).

Haha my family goes through about 3 a week:) We have a baby that drinks most of it, but a lit of it is used for cereal.

There are four people in our house -- adult male, adult female, 13 year old girl, 11 year old boy. We average about 4-5 gallons a week.
