Why hasn't this guy been arrested? Black guy kills unarmed mentally handicapped white guy, claims self defense?

It says at the end of the piece that the investigation is still ongoing. Perhaps there is more information that hasn't been reported.

The guy looks pretty guilty, but the public shouldn't be in uproar over undecided police business. The public was foolish to get upset over Trevon Martin' case because they were making accusations without much evidence to support their claims. I hate that it became a huge news event and a political strategy. I wouldn't want any public outrage for this case just like I didn't for the last. The police will do what is right more than likely and no one is a better judge of that then them. But in this particular case I would think the police will end up charging him. I think their just waiting on more evidence to slam him with.

Perhaps because all the evidence (which I imagine the police would have more of than the public) suggests that, regardless of either person's skin colour, the guy was acting in self defence. How was he supposed to know the other one was mentally disabled? Mentally ill people do not have signs on their heads - it's an unfortunate truth that sometimes lead to incidents such as this. It's not really comparable to the case down in Florida, where the neighbourhood watch guy followed the other guy, despite being told not to by the police, simply because he was black and had his hand in his waistband.

Just a great example the cops set by not arresting Zimmerman.
