Does anyone understand this guy's analogy?
It seems like he's implying that by not believing in God, I spend my time getting drunk, sleeping around, and playing video games that transport me out of this world into a virtual one. Does he not understand that by deluding myself into thinking that some magical sky daddy is going to take care of me after I die is no different than transporting myself out of this world into a virtual one?

With no evidence, there is no reason to believe that any god or afterlife is anything more than a virtual (unreal/imaginary) world.
@capitalgentleman - Sources or you're lying (which is a sin by your standards). There are no reliable surveys that have ever been conducted globally and considering that religious preference is purely a regional phenomena, your 2.3% statistic is pure fabrication.

Statistics range between 2.4% and 14%. Then you have a taxonomy problem. Are non-religious people to be considered atheists? What about people who do not identify themselves as such for fear of discrimination that goes along with not "going with the herd"? There are more of us out there than you would think and we're becoming less and less fearful of admitting our disbelief. You'll see that 2.4-14% statistic steadily climb over the next 5-10 years. About 20-25 years from now, it will be people like you who are in the minority.

It's the Christian Nihilist crap that noone can be happy unless they agree with Christians, otherwise they are trying to find "material solutions"(i.e. ones that exist) and that they should do anything they feel like; they think "if god is not, everything is permitted"

Except that there is evidence, lots of it, which is why only about 2.3% of people in the world (2006 figures) are atheist. To suggest what atheists do with their lives is kind of silly, but, talking about a "magical sky daddy" is just as silly.

Getting drunk, sleeping around, & playing video games are good things to be doing.

It's a Christian's analogy, they never make sense and are rarely pertinent to the topic at hand.
