What do dreams about frogs mean?

I don't believe in universal meaning to dream symbols.

what were your feelings and reactions during the dream?

if it was my dream with my personal symbolic meanings assigned I would sasy:

ideas are alive and tend to multiply and congregate toward like ideas;

if I've been trying to keep a lid on certain ideas and they kept multiplying, I might get frustrated or panicky, unless i recognized the solution in the dream;

there's always a solution, it's always the other side of the problem.

The distinguishing thing with frogs is amphibious.

Plus they are one of the rare ones that have transformed.

They don't help much, do they?

That these are on what appears to be your garbage might mean they are good though. Could amphibious double as able to live in two-worlds? Garbage and goodness?

Frogs are also thought to be early indicators of environmental trouble, aren't they?

The fact you couldn't get them off means you didn't want them, though, so they seem to represent what's undesirable, yet you couldn't get rid of them and they increased.

...No. Not getting it. Gotta think outside of the frog.

Discard all that with the trash, probably.

Rethinking about it... I think the frogs might mean sort of the opposite to the trash. Living, good things, that you were trying to throw out like trash. They might have been beneficial to your inner environment and maybe you mistook them for rubbish. They are even often coloured green, like growth.

That could explain why the good kept increasing; you can't get rid of it.

All on one area of this "lid" on the inside might represent the good bits in you join together or gathered in one part of you, on the underside, hard to notice in this issue.

Three types of them might be the variety if the frogs represent thoughts or ideas.

So, can you think of an instance in yourself where you tried to discard the good, or might have done that unwittingly?

When ever stuff like this happens to me I look up or find whatever was in my dream, then go to sleep early and when I fall asleep I have the same dream but it gets explained or I have a new dream that's connected to it that gives me some insite. I couldn't help you figure out but maybe this will help.
