Will the tuition in the US colleges ever stop raising so fast?

I am a international student and I like to study in US but I am worried about the college education in US, I feel lucky that my parents have the necessary funds and the willing to finance my education but I am worried about how the middle class americans will be able to pay for college in the future. In the last 10 years the tuition in american colleges raised 100%, I know that US citizens can receive federal loans but there is a limit, most of the students graduate with some debt but imagine the future college students graduating with the double of debt. You can say that this is not my business because I am a foreigner and I will return to my country after my graduation, but just imagine a future where the only people that attend college are scholarship athletes, very rich people, members of the military using the benefits and cadets of the military academies (because they are free).

There are lots of colleges that meet all of your financial needs (usually these are schools with very large endowments, like Harvard.) Some colleges have also gotten to the financial point where they have not raised tuition (my alma mater didn't raise it this year...)

I have a feeling it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
