My cat ate Comfortis for dogs! Will she be okay?!?
My dog didn't eat the Comfortis that I put in his bowl this morning, so my mum put it next to me while I was on the computer. Later, I was busy playing Pokemon Tower Defense (best game ever!) and I noticed my cat was next to me, so I looked at her. That's when I noticed that she was eating the Comfortis. I quickly took it off her, but she must have eaten about either half or a quarter of it, I'm not sure.
She's a young cat, maybe a kitten. I'm not sure exactly how old she is, I adopted her from a vet hospital.
The Comfortis is for dogs, 27.1 - 54kg.
It says that it contains 1620mg Spinosad, if that helps.
My cat is small.
Will she be alright, or should I take her to a vet?

Comfortis is toxic to cats! Call your Vet or ASPCA Poison Control Hotline for advice. They may instruct you to induce vomiting, or they may want to see the cat. Either way, please give them a call!

Comfortis which contains Spinosad is not poisonous to cats. However since the pill was meant for 27.1 to 54 kg, that is the part that worries me.
To feel safe, take her to the vet.

Yes, its okay if your dog eats a little cat food, but dog food is preferred for your pet as that is what it is made for. Cat food is usually high in protein as cats are carnivores. Dogs on the other hand are omnivores just like people, so they need there veggies, too. My dog will not eat dog food, but goes for the cat food thinking that the cat is getting something better. What I do is add 1 part cat food to 3 parts dog food to get her to eat her own food. That seems to do the trick.

Call a vet and see what they say. Vets are used to getting calls about what to do and if an animal should be brought in. I would take her in just to be sure, though, because too much flea/tick stuff can kill a cat easily.

I know more about dogs, but I dont think it will harm your cat, if youre very worried maybe make an enquirey or do some research online.
My dog once ate a massive bar of chocolate by accident (which is meant to be poisonous to them) he was ok,
