Dark Knight or Dark Knight Returns?

I like both I can't choose a favorite. In TDK Heath Ledger was absolutely amazing as the Joker and it really made the film. In TDKR the storyline was so amazing and Bane and Catwoman were really good and you didn't know what to expect especially he ending so that's why I can't choose a favorite

It's hard to decide because both movies are awesome but I'll go for The Dark Knight, the Joker was an amazing character, the greatest villain in superhero films history, and what makes me choose The Dark Knight is that it has some really amazing scenes like the interrogation one, the why so serious scene and of course the first scene, the first scene is very catchy, it makes you want to see the rest of the film and the first scene in The Dark Knight Rises is interesting and great but not as much as the one in The Dark Knight, but The Dark Knight Rises has alot of scenes that are shocking and surprising and the ending is very good! So I will go for The Dark Knight, but not by much, both movies are amazing.

Dark Knight Rises

Dark Knight is a little better than Dark Knight Rises, because of the Joker who actually had no purpose but mayhem. Bane is also great, but the story of rises is a little bit more conventional and common. But still an awesome persona, though not as psychological as the Dark Knight.

Of course the DARK KNIGHT RETURNS was even better, as it had a much older geriatric Batman, Joker killing himself in an insane way, a little girl with glasses as Robin, and Batman Vs. Superman.

dark knight rises not returns. the dark knight is better it has the best villain ever , joker, and the best person who's ever played the joker. To many things go on in the rises one to many new characters there were in rises. Don't get me wrong I loved the dark knight rises just the dark knight is better than any batman movie to me I just really like Christopher Nolan made the dark knight amazing

I would say the Dark Knight was the best movie in the trilogy. Mostly because of the Joker and Heath Ledgers amazing, and outstanding performance. The Joker is the perfect villain for Batman and that movie really did show it well.

The subject of the third film in director Nolan's Batman trilogy won't be up to movie fans. You can't negotiate for what you think you would like to see, you'll have to wait two years and take your chances like everyone else. Personally, I don't think anyone else will be playing the Joker in the final Batman movie. As for a name, "The Dark Knight Returns" is the title of a 1991 graphic novel by writer/artist Frank Miller and features an aging Batman in his final case in an alternative future. I doubt Nolan would want to film a version of that story, since it contradicts much of what he has established in his first two Batman films and I doubt he would want to pay Miller just to use the title, so I would expect a different title.

I would say that The Dark Knight is a slightly better movie because it has a stronger antagonist and a more solid plot. Both are excellent, though.

Dark Knight! Both were excellent movies. But I loved Heath Ledger in the first movie. The second wasn't bad or anything, but I LOVED the first one :)
