Do you think canned croissants would work as a dumpling in chicken and dumplings?

Bad butter ratio, if you ask me.

But then I have not actually done that one, so maybe it's worth trying just as an experiment!

Yikes! Definitely not!! Just make the dumplings... they couldn't be easier. Nothing can compare to the real thing. I can't imagine using canned biscuit dough for dumplings when you can make the real thing. Maybe you haven't had real dumplings... because canned biscuit dough cooked in liquid wouldn't be anything even close to the flavor or texture of what a real dumpling should be. Make them!! Once you do, you will NEVER use a canned dough again! They are soooo easy!

(Another winter meal... seems to be a lot of people who like heavy, gravy dishes in summer. It's definitely a great meal though.)
