Good first car recommendation?

So I'm going to be getting my license soon and i wanted to know any recommendations on good first cars? i go to a private school so if i don't get a somewhat unique/cool looking car I'll never hear the end of it (yea i know, it's sad). I've been poking around online and I found some stuff. Some of the cars that i've taken into consideration are these (favorites are in order from top to bottom):

Nissan 350z.

Chevy Camaro

Ford Mustang

Ford Focus (may sound lame but they actually use them as rally cars!)

Saturn Sky

Scion Fr-s

I've talked with my parents about all these cars and the main problem is, is that the insurance is going to be WAYYY to high, intact my dad doesn't even know if i can get insurance on a 350z (me being a new driver and all). Here's the key factors of the new car:

We are going to buy it used

we we're looking for 20k or less (we could go a little more if it's really worth it, and i'd probably be chipping in some of my money at that point)

I'd like to add things to it like sub-woofers, and possibly and underbody LED kig. But i wouldn't put those in until i absolutely KNOW I'm a safe driver. I absolutely love cars so it'd be awesome to have a cool first one. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated! remember not to be too ridiculous though

Id probably get a black 1998 lincoln mark 8... watch the videos in my sources.

Best of all, they are cheap- $5,000 cheap with low miles, $15,000 you can spend on mods.

Insurance for me when I was 18 was $220 a month.

They came with neon tail lights, hid headlight, mustang cobra 300hp engine, air suspension that lowers at highway speeds/ and parked... Best part is all of the cobra engine parts will fit on it, including a supercharger.

You will have a hard time insuring any sports car being a student and new driver however, Consumer reports recommends Scion FR-S as a good buy but it requires premium fuel. Also recommended is the Ford Mustang.

The following are cars reccomended for first drivers:

Ford Focus sedan- 2009-2011, Chevy Malibu - 2008 or later, Scion xB 2008 or later, Nissan Rogue,

    Honda Fit 2011 or later

Get the mustang! You can get so many girls with that car and since your a gear head you can easily mod up the stang to make it look exactly how you want it. You can't go wrong with american muscle.
