Is it possible to never get over someone?

Yeh I believe that it is very possible to never get over someone. As time passes you may forget about them for a moment, or days, or weeks,but I believe there are days that you will think about him/her again and the cycle will start all over again. When you love or feel for someone in a strong and real way it will seem like forever before u get over it. I honestly think you may never stop loving that person, but how u respond to it as the time passes, is what will change. As time passes you will try to get over it by changing the way you deal with it and it will get better over time. You probably will eventually find someone else that you love so much you will even forget about that someone, but that will be the case for as long as your good days last with that new someone. Any bad day, you most likely will be thinking bout that someone you took forever and tried hard to get over.

So what you do? Don't fight. Just embrace it and continue living your life and make the best of your situation with the next person you find. Look forward to the days when that "someone" will just be a faint memory

It's so possible. I feel like once I love someone or REALLY like someone, it'll never completely go away. It goes for friends too. I had a couple intense relationships before I got married, and I still have some feelings for the two guys. Not new feelings but I still feel the old ones. It gets easier. Specially when you find someone new and better. I'm really good friends with one of them now. It's nice to havea friend that knows you so well.

You have to ask yourself if you have a strong spirit or not. Can you not get your legs over this obstacle? Are you going carry this weight or let it go, choice is yours.

I belive it can last forever....however the degree of feeling will diminish somewhat.

I'm 36 and I still think about my first proper love. We never did it either.didn't know how to .lol

No... well i dont thinkso... you can get used to not being with them but when you see that face again your heart will melt
