can you still have sleep apnea, but have dreams, which usually happen during REM sleep?
lately I been feeling fatigued every day, and wake up with a dry mouth. I been to the doctor twice and they keep saying I'm fine. I keep insisting on a sleep test, but since I don't have insurance they can give two shi** about my health. Anyway, I have trouble going to sleep and staying asleep, and when I do sleep I still feel fatigued. ENT doctors are really expensive so I was thinking about just buying the damn cpap machine myself to see if it betters my sleeping. so yeah, my question is I still get some vivid dreams which supposedly take place in REM sleep, what can be the problem? thanks for any good advice.

Try meditating, and getting in a sleeping state BEFORE You even go to sleep. thus creating you going into a rem sleep faster, ALSO try sleeping teas, they seem to work for me, try melatonin.
Try laying in bed for like 1 hr (Make sure you DO NOT Have to piss, cut drinks out for 1 hr before you go to bed, ofcourse if your thirsty then drink) and listen to your ipod, and get your mind settled.
I find the ipod works best for me, I listen to it for 1 - 2 hours before I even go to bed, just lay in bed and listen to music, and get your mind into a settled state. because you start off in a state of listening and observing the music, but quickly go off into your own world, and you get into a dreamy sleepy state fast.
Sorry I really bad english, not good at explainig :P but I hope I help!!! :D
