  • Ladies, what do you think of men who love wearing boots, engineers, packers....?

I used to wear sneakers all the time, I only wear them at the gym now. I wear boots everywhere else I go, some specific brands I love are custom Wesco, and White's. So ladies what do you think, or say to yourself when you see a man wearing boots of this type....

  • How to make my High Compressed motor exhaust sound less louder on my Chevy?

I have a 57 bel air with a 12:1 compression, the exhaust is dumped before the rear end the car just sounds extremely loud, I know I can run pipes all the way to make it less quiet, but it won't make much of a difference, is there a muffler I can add to make it less quiet? Im running flowmasters. Here is a video of the Bel air.

  • What is worth more on the long run 57 Bel Air or 69 Camaro?

I have a 57 Bel Air fully built pro street with a 496/400 with 700 street horses, owner invested over 45k in it back in late 90's. just bad to the bone car, but quite honestly it's not something i can drive to far car shows since the motor was built for drags. So I was thinking of trading for a 69 camaro, also built with a new ZZ 502 crate motor, and rock-crusher tranny. the body is straight, but the interior isn't all that great. So what brings better cash if I ever want to resell any of them? Camaro is a regular jane just built to run, and the bel air is complete but modified pro street car with some serious power.

  • Do sleeping pills really work?

Here's the story... two years ago I had a very bad ear infection, caused my ear to puncture, and I felt off balance for months. having no insurance I thought it would heal itself, but it took almost a year; during this period I developed anxiety over the feeling of "vertigo" everywhere I went, and now that my ear is fine, some anxiety still remained, but got my balance back and all this would cause me to have sleepless nights. I been going on with 3-4 hours max every day for the past few months, and I've tried taking a lot home remedial to help me sleep, but nothing is helping. I remember sleeping a full 8-9 hours for years, and now it's really hard for me to sleep, I feel restless almost all the time and super fatigued.

Should I consider paying a doctor so then can prescribe sleeping pills? cons and positive on sleeping pills? thank you so much

  • only...Ladies, would you ever consider dating a bigger guy?

and if yes, what qualities would you be looking for, knowing all the desired physical qualities are not present? also, are taller guys somewhat intimidating?

I'm 6'3 and 248, I do weigh-lift, and run 3 miles daily, I'm still hefty, and have a small gut that is visible. pretty much like a linebacker body, with a small gut.

I asked if taller, bulkier guys are intimidating because I get a lot of eyes at the gym, or public areas, I try to smile back but ladies often turn away immediately. it's slowly taking a toll on my self esteem, but trying to fight it off. Just to make it clear Im far away from being a jerk, or scumbag.

  • Any of you guys wear work boots casually?

Are you ladies cool with it, or see it as repulsive?

I'm 22, and I used to wear nothing, but Jordans, Nikes back in High School and most of my college years. Now, I wear nothing, but boots such as Engineer boss boots, Packers, and other type of work boots. I've noticed that a lot of people stare at me, and every once in a while I get a few compliments, but seriously I haven't noticed other guys my age wear them casually. Most compliments come from guys, kinda odd.

Here is an example of what boots I'm talking about.

  • Swapping LS2 out of my 06 corvette in for a LS7?

I came across an LS7 out of a 08 zo6 with 34k miles on the clock. The deal was amazing, so I couldn't pass it up. I was wondering if I can simply swap out the ls2 out of my daily driven vette, in favor of the ls7. I have an Automatic 6 speed, and I want to leave that untouched. The ls2 has 120k miles, still runs like hell, and has never given me any problems, so what are your thoughts? thanks

  • Can impacted wisdom teeth cause vertigo, fatigue, lightheaded and anxiety?

for the past couple of months i've had all these symptoms, but not all at the same time. I've been to the doctor twice, and had a few blood test done, but as usual, I'm perfectly fine. It just came to my attention that my jaw hurts a lot, and that my two bottom wisdom teeth are impacted. Even though I don't have any pain inside my mouth can it be the impacted teeth causing me the group of symptoms? also, about 5 months ago my left side of my face became numbed for a few days, could it have been an infection? I have my appointment next week, but i just want to know if these symptoms can be related. thanks for any help.

  • can you still have sleep apnea, but have dreams, which usually happen during REM sleep?

lately I been feeling fatigued every day, and wake up with a dry mouth. I been to the doctor twice and they keep saying I'm fine. I keep insisting on a sleep test, but since I don't have insurance they can give two shi** about my health. Anyway, I have trouble going to sleep and staying asleep, and when I do sleep I still feel fatigued. ENT doctors are really expensive so I was thinking about just buying the damn cpap machine myself to see if it betters my sleeping. so yeah, my question is I still get some vivid dreams which supposedly take place in REM sleep, what can be the problem? thanks for any good advice.

  • Any LAFD firefighters, I have a few questions...?

Im a 22 year old looking to become a future fireman with the city of Los Angeles, and I have a few concerns/question in hopes that someone may be able to answer and help me with.

What would be the best initial steps in order to become a city firefighter? So far I've enlisted to the EMT course at my local community college and will start this coming fall. What else will be important?

Would you guys recommend for me to show up a local fire station and ask for volunteering opportunities, or will I need to contact someone else?

Physically, what would be the ideal weight, and what are the things I will need to work with the most (body muscles)? I been lifting weights for a over three years, and I enjoy using the elliptical with a weighted vest at home all of the time. I'm a bit over 240 pounds and stand 6'2.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • whats a 2007 C6 Corvette with 150k miles worth?

So I was looking to buy the new camaro, perhaps the regular 1SS, but I came across a 2007 Corvette clean tiltle with 150,000 miles on the LS2 motor. The owner said he used the car for mostly highway miles, hes an older gentleman too, and he said he would take it for maintenance every 3-5 months. His asking price is $16,000 cash. Should I consider it a good daily driver for the next two to three years, of course given that i'll be taking good maintenance. Its a six speed automatic too.

  • would a 1967 firebird Subframe fit a 1969 camaro?

am getting both cars in a deal, and I would like to have disc brakes and after market suspension on my 69 camaro over the firebird, the firebird comes with the goodies, and the camaro has drums all around. My question is can I just simply swap the front subframe to my 69 camaro? It seems much easier rather than taking smaller things apart. thanks for your input.
