Obama should've hammered Romney in the debate?
He let Romney get away with so much. I wouldn't have given him an inch.
Romney: "I've been in business 25 years and I have no idea what you're talking about."
Response: "Well I've been president for the last 4 so I do know what I'm talking about. Maybe if you weren't so busy dismantling companies and laying people off, you could've paid attention to the big picture."
Romney: "Excuse but I have 5 boys and I'm used to people telling me things that just aren't true."
Response: "Well I have 2 daughters and they've been told never to tell one group of people something and then turn around make completely different promises to another group of people. "
Romney: "Mr. President you promised to cut the deficit in half and you haven't even cut it 1%. In fact, it grew by 6 trillion dollars under your watch."
Response: "Yes I did promise to cut the deficit but that was before the economy nearly collapsed. I don't care who is in this job, nobody could of cut the debt when millions of people that were previously paying taxes are now unemployed. Nor is it wise to cut back government spending when the economy is on life support. I had to make a choice to save the economy or rein in spending. I chose to help out struggling Americans first. If we hadn't passed the stimulus bill, according to Ben Bernanke, not me, we would've sank into another Great Depression. And he has studied the Great Depression all his life. So he knows what he is talking about. And the deficit is a problem but we still have time to fix it. Now is not the time. As a percentage of GDP, the deficit is not the highest its ever been (like it was during WW2)."
"Look Mr. Romney has made a lot of glowing promises. He's promised to create millions of jobs, cut everyone's taxes by 20%, increase the defense budget, and reduce the deficit all at the same time. Now, if you believe he can do all that then I got some swampland I'd like to sell you. Even my daughters know it's simply not realistic to have their cake and eat it too. Trade-offs have to be made. This man said about 47% of the country, and I quote, 'I'm not worried about them. That's not my job.' Now when push comes to shove, which promises do you think he's going to forget about first?"
I would've anticipated some of his accusations and I would've had these talking points ready beforehand.

SORRY BUT THAT LINE WOULDN'T WORK SEEING AS ROMNEY CREATED MORE JOBS THAN DESTROYED. Secondly Romney could have nailed Obama when Obama Said he wanted to make The U.S energy independent Romney should have have said (THEN WHY MR. PRESIDENT DID YOU TRY EVERY WAY TO BLOCK THE KEY STONE PIPELINE?;

Laughable ... Obama is not equipped for this. He has no clue how actual business works. Romney will win because for once, Obama will be vetted and shown how incompetent he is at the economy.

The Obama I saw on stage that night, was not the Barack Obama that debated Hilliary Clinton in 2008. I was disappointed. He could have done better, but he chose to remain passive. Maybe, the wear and tear of being the President of the United States go the best of him that night. He's energy was gone and so was his fire.
I only hope it returns in the next debate, otherwise god forbid, Mitt Romney might win.

Well, you must have believed Obama's lies. I don't see any of his promises being fulfilled.
Bernanke needs to be in prison!
Please those of you who say Romney is lying explain to me what he is lying about, and I would like proof please.
The proof Obama lies is all over the place--broken promises, failed policies, coverups, scandals, deaths. Executive privilege orders covering up and giving him too much power. No jobs, gas prices through the roof, 90 billion $$ to Solydra.
Romney laid out FACT AFTER FACT, and Obama could not refute it because it was the truth and he knew it! He didn't expect Romney to be that informed. SURPRISE!

Romney came out with so many lies and half-truths, it would have taken the President hours to go through all of them.Romney will try the same tactic in the next debate. What does it matter who "won" the debate if he did it with untruths? The fact checkers are having a hay day with Romney's questionable claims and assertions.

I agree!
Romney: "I want to create more jobs." 5 mins later: "I want to cut SS and medicare"
Why, so the old people will be less enticed to retire, therefore opening less jobs for young people like me? Great idea.
Not to mention, Romney changed his stance on taxes last night. I was yelling at the TV when he said he was lowering taxes for everyone when JUST LAST WEEK, he said he's only lowering taxes for the rich. Obama did not have ANY way of doing anything in office except for Obamacare because Republicans wouldn't allow anything he tried to get passed. Plus Romney wants to cut funding in education. He says education was fine while he was Governor of Massachusetts. HARVARD IS IN YOUR ******* STATE! Of course education is going to great there.
He contradicted himself in so many ways, I wish people were educated enough to see that.
And for any of you moron who believe Romney is telling the truth? HAH! i laugh at you! He does not care for young people nor the middle class. Of course he is going to say what the American people want to hear. Watch his past speeches if you don't believe me. At least Obama was being realistic, when he was elected he did not promise the country would be fixed, he admitted it would take time. What Bush messed up in 8 years, people expect Obama to fix in 4? Unbelievable...

All obama could do is look down and try to think of an answer, but he knew the lies that his campaign has been running against Romney are a bunch of lies and he knew he was caught red handed. Obama needs to be voted out.

So you're saying that the real Obama doesn't live up to your fantasy Obama? Yeah, there's a lot of that going around.

Yeah, and did you come with ALL that .5 seconds after Romney said that? No. So shutup. Obama looks bad because he's done BAD.
