Is my cat pregnant or just fat?
Hi I have a question my cat Is very young we rescued her after she had been thrown out of a moving car? We have had her about 4
months now we think she is approx 6 months she is getting big around the stomach area. Her stomach is very hard but every time I go to touch it she meows and walks away she gets angry when you touch her stomach and now hates it when you pick her up? Is there a chance she could be pregnant?

She sounds pregnant from what you've said. She defiantly could be pregnant. My cat got lost at 5 months old. She was missing for several weeks. Finally, someone found her and she was 6 months old then. We noticed she was gaining weight so we took her to the doctor and they did and ultrasound and sure enough, she has 7 lil' babies in there just waiting to come out. Here are some symptoms of pregnancy:
Wieght gain and swollen belly
Pink nipples that close to labor with exert milk
Will eat more than usual
Nesting activies
Laziness
More affectionate
Etc.
Most cats hate to be picked up when they are pregnant. If you feel her belly, you should be able to feel the babies kick. If you are really worried, I'd suggest taking her to the vet just to be sure. If she was pregnant, she would be due soon. Good luck!

Check her appearance and attitude
-if her nipple is pink
-if she eats much more than usual
-if she sleeps often\being LAZY
-asking for attention
-irritated(sometimes)
Buut for the best..
Visit a vet and have her a check up
