Estimate for vet procedure?

I know that vet rates vary by area, but I'm just looking for a ballpark estimate.

My kitten has an odd black blob growing in the corner of her eye (not In the eye itself, but in the corner) From what I've been able to learn it may be a tumor/growth that should be removed and biopsied.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar procedure done and what the cost was -- and again, yes I know prices will vary due to area.

Update:

@Blue - yes that's why I said TWICE that a Know there is differences in price in different areas and I was looking for a Range --I also said I was taking her to the vet first thing this morning- as in 5 am -if that meets with your approval

According to vet prices that I got for my dog's lipoma that was to get biopsied, I got ranges from $200-650.

Maybe call around and see how much the office visits are for each vet, as SOMETIMES the lower the office visit, the more reasonable the costs.

None of us can know what it or what vets charge near you. Get her in ASAP. What are you waiting for?
