Your dad seem like a looser he is probably jealous of you...don't hide yourself from him...doesn't he is also get the picture hitting you will make him a low asshole..deep down in his heart he know he is ashamed of himself...just go to church every sunday so God can give you strength to protect you

I think the best thing to do is just try and stay on good terms with your parents, I know it might be hard considering you guys fight constantly, but you're so young. And you have only 3 years left, then you can go live on your own. But don't think about suicide. Please, I know people who have killed themselves and it's a tragedy, it's not worth losing your life, I promise.
If you are really scared of fearing your life or that your parents might hurt you, you could get the authorities involved if you have nowhere else to go.
Are you close to another family member? Like an aunt or an uncle? Go live with them, or with a friend for a couple of weeks to get away from the environment in your house.
Best of luck, be safe. Things will get better, I promise.

The best thing you can do.......sit down with your family, discuss your feelings and let them know how you feel.
You really have to sit back and look at the whole picture; from newborn until you began school - your life was just about having fun and being a child. You begin school; you're still a child, having fun and learning.
MIddle school; you're still a child but now you are gaining responsibilities and more school work.
High school; you're still a child (in the eyes of the law) but all of a sudden you're expected to take on even more responsibilities, more homework and become an adult by the time you reach 18-years of age.
That's a drastic transformation, in just 4-years, for a child....physically and especially mentally.
Once you're an adult - you remain an adult the rest of your life.....not a lot of changing there, but in high school, there are tons of changes.
Like I stated above.....sit down with your family and have a long discussion. There's nothing worse than a parent NOT knowing what's going on in their child's life......

sigh.......I always wonder why teens get into arguments with their parents. As I always say, it takes 2 to argue. If your dad says the sky is purple, why should it end up with an argument?? If he says he doesn't like your friends, why would it end up fighting????
WHAT ARE YOU FIGHTING ABOUT THAT IS SO IMPORTANT????? Think about it, dear. You fight, you feel threatened. So don't argue!!!!!!

talk to a physiatrist at your school. your lucky, when i was a kid, there was no such thing as arguing back, well to a extent, if i did something dumb my dad would slap me straight. it could be alot worse, be optimistic. suicide is never the right option, theres no fixing that mistake.
