Why does my girlfriend worry when i'm quiet?

In my personal experience, I've had certain people I was so relaxed with I felt we could hold a "comfortable silence" where I was happy just to be with them. It sounds like you're at this level with her, or maybe you're just not as talkative as she is. It also might be that you might have a certain facial expression when you're thinking and not realize it, so she might get concerned. Girls (in general) are more verbal than guys, so it makes sense that she'd feel a need for conversation more than you do. When she does ask you what's wrong, maybe you could say something like, "Nothing, nothing at all. When I'm around you, sometimes I'm at a loss for words." Haha that came out really corny, but you get my point ;) Let her know that your silence isn't a bad thing, and make more of an effort to communicate (i.e. be the first person to initiate conversations sometimes). Girls get frustrated if they feel they are forcing someone to talk, and trust me, a guy that can communicate is highly attractive :) Hope that helps!

YES!! Unlike you emotionally careless guys, us girls notice the signs you send and when at times you're quiet we interprete it as if something was wrong. And honestly that's just how girls show affection. We care about the people we love and we tend to notice if they're quiet, sad, or really upset about something. And you don't have to talk all the time, but at least try to talk every now and then to show you're okay!

lots of girl do this, if you're quiet for half an hour or so, she starts to worry that you're not into the relationship anymore, or maybe you're upset about something and dont want to talk, her mind will begin to wander, causing her to ask what is wrong.

My friends do that to when I'm quiet cause I'm usually talking I guess. It's like when someone changes their usual habits people ask them if their ok because something is different about them. Sometimes annoying I know like can't you just let me be?? But yea people are like that.

She's probably worried that when you're quiet you're thinking about complaining on the internet about her instead of confronting her.

But what would give her that idea?

I hold my hands up, i worry when my boyfriends quiet. Honestly, she probably worries that she's done or said something thats made you quiet thats all.
