Dear no-abortion-ever fanatics...are you happy to add another notch to your belts?

Update:

@ Lawrence - did you bother to even read the story? The fetus was already miscarried...there was no question of saving both.

Update 2:

@ Haunter - exactly...it IS proof of something - the ridiculous lengths to which anti-abortion idiots go to show their supposed value of life. And if valuing a woman's life over that of a fetus with zero chance of survival makes me a bigot, then I'm a bigot.

I really don't understand why a lot of people still make important decisions according to their religious belief... This is the 21st century already and Ireland is a developed country for god's sake...

You're in favor of abortion. You like body counts as high as they'll go. You must have been dancing in the streets.

What killed this woman was septicemia. That is what the article says. What is interesting about Sepsis, it is not something that is easy to detect and is very fatal.

"One of the main challenges of sepsis treatment is diagnosis: By the time doctors realize a patient is septic and start treatment, it can be too late. Earlier diagnosis and treatment could have a profound effect on survival rates, so many research efforts are aimed at finding ways to recognize the onset of the condition more quickly." http://www.nigms.nih.gov/Education/factsheet_sepsi...

So, lets say the child was aborted, then the hospital fails to diagnose the septicemia and the patient dies; then what?

I am surprised that you are trying to push your political views on a public forum using the death of someone, who dies of septicemia no less.

Terrible things happen. I still believe abortion is wrong. Just because that one thing happened doesn't mean its ok to kill a living person. That is murder. If you want murder go ahead.

No, bigot, you seem to be the only one who feels comfortable flashing news like that around like it's proof of something. I wouldn't use a dead women in a ridiculous internet argument. But that might have something to do with my respect for life, so I understand why it is isn't mutual.

Why should we value one over the other? Both are unique human beings full of potential, it simply isn't an option to simply murder someone for the well-being of another. We must work to save *both* and not favor either.

Lower chances of survival doesn't justify killing someone.

The woman didn't die of not having an abortion. She died of blood poisoning.

You should be ashamed of yourself for politicizing such a tragic event.
