Seniors, have you ever given an answer and then later on wished you would have written something else?
Sometimes after I answer a question it will remain in my mind for a few days because I wish I would have handled it differently. If any of you have been offended by one of my answers let me apoloigize right now. Sorry.
I know I can go back and edit it and sometimes I do but mostly right away to fix grammer or spelling, or to make it a little shorter. I think sometimes I answer when I am not in a very good mood, later on when I am feeling better I may see things differently. I try to stay off here when in a bad mood but sometimes I come here anyway because it often cheers me up.

Dede,
I have come up with better information later. I will go back and edit IF the Q is still open, or I will E mail to the asker if I can.

Oh yes...I have deleted questions because I didn't like the way they were worded. I hate the fact that you can't edit a question...you can only add details. It doesn't help to correct it underneath when the damage has already been done. So out it goes! I also will sometimes see someone else's answer that I feel is much better than my own, and wish I wrote it!

Sometimes but mostly I stick with my original answer since it's usually based on experience or fact that I can provide reliable sources to. If some one provides information that makes my answer sound doubtful, I'm not too proud to correct it and apoligize. No one is perfect. If you've given it the best you can, don't worry about it.

Yes. I occasionally will edit to either add or change a few words. I have also deleted answers. I have also deleted my own Qs at times for a variety of reasons. Before it got zapped by the someone else.

Oh Dede, Sweety don't do that to yourself. We do the best we can at the moment & then it's done. Our audience is responsible for how they take something. We are not responsible for our audience.
Does that make sense?
You have never written anything I have ever found offensive. Even if you did, I wouldn't hold that against you. I write all kinds of things too. I love myself more than I care about these answers. Life just keeps moving, moving, moving. All that matters & all we are here for is love.
You are loved Dede. Just write you answer & let it go. Surrender as if you are allowing yourself to go into a nice warm, relaxing pool of water or something that brings you a feeling of peace from head to toe & all around. Yes, you are a diving expression, expressing here.

The only time I've done that is when I answer a question and someone later posts information I wasn't aware of when I answered...or they made a valid (counter)point.

If i became an admissions officer at USF and that i became interpreting this, i does no longer understand a single element approximately you. Come on guy, ignore appropriate to the venture, write approximately your self. they desire to understand approximately you. The venture is what you stick to as quickly as you're usual and you're attending. you do no longer could write your essay approximately it. Write approximately your objectives in existence. Write approximately your meant area of learn. this is the stuff they desire to understand.

Don't second guess yourself. The only answers I give that I have second thoughts are to the trolls and I wished I would have written more to put them in their place.

If a Best Answer hasn't been chosen you can go back and change it.
To answer your question, yes. I sometimes wish I'd answered differently. Sometimes I try WAY too hard to be funny and people don't get it.
