Rescued kitten question?
Last night my husband found a little kitten who was very skinny and in need of love so he picked it up and brought it home with him. I cleaned her up a bit and gave her food. She has now been here for almost a full 24 hours and something i have noticed is that her eyes are really runny. When I cleaned them the first time there was hard goop on them but now it just seems to be clear. They are not red or puffy and besides them she acts perfectly normal. She is eating, playing and cuddling with me. Does anyone know what this could be caused from. I don't know if this matters or not but it has been extremely windy and rainy lately.

thats awful idea! becuase your guy found it in the wild! it could have rabies a viral disease that is always fatal! take it to the vet for shots. and god bless u for saving a kitten.

your newest gift from god needs to be checked out at vets .. money well spent when a cat is born the after birth and what not gets in ears and eyes and baby might need an antibiotic very cheap also if you can get a good kitten food like hills science diet it is the best you can buy and the cat won't have to eat a lot so you save money in the long run congrats on your prize .... can you say a prayer for me i'm having heart surgery

Phone the vet... don't haul her in quite yet, just call them. I've made more than a few calls where the verdict was something viral which meant taking them into a place full of sick animals would defeat the purpose.
