How can I get my mom to stop talking to me?

My mom complains about how I don't listen to her I try my best to but sometimes I just can't for whatever reason. When I don't listen she tells me stuff like "Im not going to talk to you because you don't listen" or "I'm sick and tired of you not listening" or "fine whatever I say isn't important anyway (sarcastically said)" I'm tired of hearing these things. I do my best to listen to what my mom says (I'm 20 btw) I do what I'm told and i do my best at everything. Once in anger when I wasn't listening to something she said for me to do and I did that thing wrong she said "I love you but sometimes I really ******* hate you" then she said sorry to me 15 minutes later but all sorry in the world can't make you un-hear something someone said to or about you. Sometimes I just want to tell her "if your so tired of me not listening then just don't talk to me!" :( I hate having thoughts like those.

you're 20?  how about, stop acting like you're 3.

you're lucky that's all your mother said to you.  you wouldn't be allowed to live in my house with a 20 year old attitude like that.

1. Your 20 years old. You should be living somewhere by yourself.  Not be living with your mom. #2,. You should have a job of your own and working instead of lying around the house all day doing nothing. By golly your a adult. Not a kid anymore. Sounds like your a lazy (_!_) . And don't want to work or do nothing but lie around all day long. Your mom is tired of you just lying around doing nothing in your life. Let me ask you this question. When your mom dies. Then what the hell are you going to do huh? Nobody there to support you then. You need to get off your behind and get a job and start being responsible. Just because your young does not mean you know it all. You lack a lot of growing up and learning about life. The facts. If I seem harsh. Its because I am tired of these young kids thinking.. we all should be sorry and feel sorry for the kids and young adults because there young and baby them for life. Sorry that does not work. I started working when I was 5 years old and walked 3 miles to school in the wind- snow and back home after school and did chores before I went to school and back home. And I got up at 5 A.M. too. So get off your lazy behind and do something. Nobody is feeling sorry for you. You got to help yourself. Nobody owes it to you to help you. You got to help yourself OK.?

i don't really get why you don't listen to her. Probably you need to really think seriously upon that point. She is your mother man! She cares, she grew you up, so probably she cares even more. Maybe you are important in her life and that is the reason why she wants to tell you things and wants you to listen. And one thing i find common with all the women. If you give her attention she is the happiest person in the world as that's a woman's way of thinking that the person really cares and actually gives a ****. (Sorry for my bad language) SO i suggest you think and focus on why you dont want to listen to her. and i advice just listen to what she says even if she's annoying. I find my mother annoying but trust me if your mother goes away ( i got a dream my mother died) You would feel real bad. So just live with peace. No hate! :D
