Do people enduring dimentia (loss of memory) ever experience any kind of stress.?
The reason why I want to know about those two conditions is that I believe they are both positioned at the extremity of our own conscious, so rationality seems to be central! Perhaps a 'balanced mind is our optimum condition! Your views and comments please.

Anyone I've ever known of with dementia isn't really stressed, just annoyed with themselves when they forget important things. It can be stressful trying to remember something important quickly, and certain conversations could become an exercise in confusion.

Yes,because they get angry with themselves and even have violent out bursts due to the confusion they experience from Dementia.I believe their brain is not processing what they would like to say,and they often know it,however in the late stages it becomes less distressing for them as the brain deteriorates to the point of barely being able to recal memories at all

Some do because the annoyance of broken memories and lost memories gets to them, there is a really great therapeutic approach for people with dementia and it involves music; music is the last thing that a dementia patient forgets, usually, their memories of the music they grew up with is still intact and can give them a better feeling of self esteem and enjoyment.

Yes they can. for example one lady was constantly calling for her sister who had died a few years earlier. She was upset, missed her sister, often cried.
Trying to explain and comfort her got us nowhere.
