Don't you feel small in the face of reality?

The Universe is large, but I am at the very center. I learned that in medical school.

I go to the Mendocino coast several times a year for personal meditation retreats. I stare at the surf and listen to the sea birds until nothing else is in my head but the majesty of it all.

I feel very small yet very connected.

At peace.

i had this realization a couple of years ago and it still blows my mind. and you are only small on the scale you choose to live on. universally we are nothing, globally is more comforting for me, i stopped worrying about how little i meant in the grand scheme of every thing that ever was and decided that i would narrow my concern to the planet. its all reality its just what you choose to think about it... if that makes sense lol

Nope, I have an incredibly large wingspan

of course, we are all just a grain of sand on the sea shore.
